Steak Escape opened its first restaurant in the French Market of Columbus, Ohio, United States in 1982. The original philosophy was two-fold and simple: Create a menu using only the freshest, hand-prepared ingredients and do it as a show in front of the customers. That philosophy still guides nearly 70 Steak Escape locations in 22 states across the United States.

Steak Escape continues to grow in the U.S. and also has its sights set on the international market with new openings in Saudi Arabia.
